Dear Friends & Community,

Thank you so much for your willingness to participate and join together in this community gathering, and then the online conference via Crowdcast. 


 

We have decided that at this time we cannot proceed and will be cancelling this year’s conference offerings altogether. This has been a heartbreaking conclusion that we have circled around.

 

Part of our mission with Cascadia Psychedelic is bringing people together. It may well be that we can’t do that in person for some time. Certainly, many are making connections via online platforms and this is a reasonable option. But what we are interested in is the greater message and lesson that can be gleaned from all of this. It seems to be that it is, wherever possible: slowing down. That the frenetic pace of so many of our lives slows to stillness. That there is a pause, so that a different way of living in the world may take shape.

Pushing to change gears for this online conference and try to make it something it wasn’t meant to be is not slowing down. It is more painful than letting it go, for now, but ultimately it would not be in alignment nor true to our vision. It feels like a deep repatterining, and that somewhere in the chaos here, there is a powerful opportunity.


 

We want to both thank you and apologize for the back and forth in this last week. We really hope you’ll be able to join us for this conference in the future— fingers crossed for 2021.
